I used the lasso tool nd the magic wand. With the lasso tool I took away the banana and with the wand i took away whatever was left of the banana the the lasso ouldnt get.

Contract makes the selection smaller
feathering makes the selection blury

The task was just to remove the background, but I can appreciate you using the tool to remove the banana.
I’m not sure what you were trying to do with the one where you used the magic wand, because it looks like the whole picture is deleted.

The “inverse” selection tip i think will really help you out.
Also missing the “feather” example.
Double check the “must haves” for this task.
